UPDATE: Amory mayor recovering after accident at city hall

AMORY — Mayor Howard Boozer is recovering from deep lacerations he received on his inside forearm in a freak accident that happened Monday evening at city hall.

Boozer was leaving work at the end of the day and the lights were off in city hall and he fell on the front inside steps, putting his arm through the glass on the front door.
