Fresh off Thursday’s 76-45 win over DePaul in Tampa, Fla., on Thursday, Mississippi State now finds itself in Anaheim, Calif., today for a tilt against UCLA in the Wooden Classic.

Tipoff is set for 3:30 p.m. Central, and it will be televised by Fox Sports Net.

The Bulldogs (6-2) have made 37 shots from 3-point range during their current three-game winning streak. But MSU is anchored down low, where center Jarvis Varnado averages a team-leading 14.1 points and 10.3 rebounds per game.

UCLA (2-5), meanwhile, has lost four in a row and recently saw sophomore forward Drew Gordon leave the team. The Bruins are paced by 6-foot-5 guard Michael Roll, who averages 13.6 points per game.

MSU and UCLA have met one other time, in the 1995 NCAA West Regional. The Bruins won, 86-67.
