TUPELO - The Downtown Tupelo Main Street Association on Wednesday will hold a public forum to discuss the Main Street improvement project, which includes beautifying sidewalks and restriping a section of Main Street to three lanes.

The meeting is geared toward downtown business owners and stakeholders. DTMSA said the informal discussion will start at noon in the Walnut Room of the Hilton Garden Inn.

In the invitation, the group said a full understanding of the history and purpose of the proposed project is critical in order for the concept to move forward in seeking funding sources.
