Take a look at the 2009 Pontiac Vibe hatchback that is currently being built in Fremont, Ca. at the NUMMI facililty along with the Toyota Corolla and the Toyota Tacoma.
 Does the Pontiac Vibe resemble the Toyota Prius to you?
The underbody frame for the Prius already exists at the NUMMI facility due to it is the same component used in the Corolla. General Motors is eliminating the Pontiac brand and that will allow room for the Prius to be built in the Fremont facility should …
