Eniel Polynice is here, his role for tomorrow’s game against Tennessee remains to be seen.

Polynice was suspended for “conduct detrimental to the team” and did not play in the regular season finale, a 68-66 win at Arkansas last Saturday.

On Tuesday, Ole Miss coach Andy Kennedy said his starting guard and team leader in assists and turnovers was reinstated. He did not say how, if at all, Polynice would be used in the SEC tournament, and he was no clearer on that a few minutes ago.

“We’ll see. He’ll be ready to roll. We’ll see how the game unfolds.”

He is an important piece, Jay, but like you say, he has to have the right attitude. If he's focused on the greater good and not his stats - and I think he will be after this soap opera - he's a big help.

i think people fail to realize how much experience polynice brings to the table. his production is down from his sophomore season before he was injured... not as sharp with the ball as we've seen in the past. when players start performing in a sub-par manner, i think people tend to have short memories and quickly throw them under the bus, so to speak. i've seen a lot of pointed comments about EP on various forums and message boards. however, he is the most experience player on the roster... like him or not. when he's playing well, he is very useful and instrumental in games. hopefully all this drama has given him a wakeup call and made him realize the universe doesn't revolve around him. if he brings his game with a good attitude, we have more of a chance at winning... not less. so don't keep him at home... let him play!

Polynice!TOO bad!!! Leave him at home. Get on with the game.

As mentioned above, the Rebels beat Arkansas at home by 2 - they got beat by the Vols in Tenn by 2 in OT, so, so the Rebs have a great chance here to take care of business. Beat the Vols on neutral ground and move on toward a match-up with the Wildcats.

The Rebs have a fight on their hands to progress thru this tournament play, not so with the Miss State dawgs, they lie in the soft bracket and should breeze thru until they meet the Rebs for tournament championship. And,to NCAA tournament play.

Probably, in all seriousness, the only change either of these two teams have at a chance to make it to NCAA play. Win this tournament.
