SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Ole Miss junior Chris Warren has been selected as one of 20 finalists for the 2010 Bob Cousy Award, the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame announced Tuesday.

The annual award, named for Hall of Famer and former Boston Celtic Bob Cousy, recognizes college basketball’s top point guard and is presented by The Hartford Financial Services.

Warren was chosen as one of 20 finalists from the previous list of 73 candidates announced in December. The Rebels’ 5-foot-10, 168-pound floor general currently ranks fifth among Southeastern Conference players with 17.1 points per game and third with 2.9 three-pointers per contest. He enters the UCF game eight points shy of 1,000 for his career.
